eMusic premiered the official music video for Stephen Paul Smoker’s “Green City” off Ripe Fruit. The video accurately captures the sense of anxiety and unease in the song — as it has Smoker wandering around in an LSD-tinged haze in what could easily be post-apocalyptic ruins. Although Ripe Fruit is an album that I’ve personally found enervating, this track is arguably one of the best rock tracks —if not the best in all genres — that I’ve heard this year.
