We bloggers and music critics can be an especially jaded, cynical lot but for me at least, there are things that are so adorable, that they can warm the coldest heart. The video for singer/songwriter Sunday Lane’s single, “A Little Too Young” is such a video — there’s something about these children trying to maneuver the adult world that should make us all realize how ridiculous the adult world is, and perhaps more importantly that we’re not too far removed from trying to maneuver ourselves. The track appears on her newest album, From Where You Are.
In some way, this song also reminds me of the Beatles “Penny Lane” and other songs in the sense that they try to convey some essential innocence and wonder.
