Since i mentioned it earlier, here’s the video for one of my favorite songs by the Clash, “This is Radio Clash.” What makes the Clash’s late output so interesting to me is this: like Fela Kuti way before them, they started to realize that they could put revolutionary messages and biting social satire in funky music — and that it would be well received.
