V-Day.org Fundraiser at the Gibson Guitar Showroom 6/1/12 featuring Patrick Droney, pILLOW tHEORY and Glass Vaults
The folks at PR firm, the Musebox, along with the folks at the Gibson Guitars Showroom in Midtown hosted a fundraiser for V-Day.org, a charity that’s actively working to prevent and stop violence to women and young girls. There’s some special woman (or women) in our lives — girlfriends, wives, sisters, mothers — and going out to show support was to be honest, a very good cause. As I mentioned in a previous post, there were three sets of great musicians — the young, local bluesman Patrick Droney, alt rockers pILLOW tHEORY and the ethereal, beautiful sounds of Glass Vaults.
With that in mind, check out a some photos from last Friday. (Admittedly, they’re not the best photos I’ve ever taken but it’ll give you some idea of the sights I saw with my own eyes.)
