While waiting for the Lyricist Lounge show at the Prospect Park Bandshell, one of the night’s DJ’s played Gang Starr’s “Dwyck,” featuring Nice and Smooth, and it brought back so many memories of running home to catch Yo! MTV Raps in the afternoon. I think I might have amazed some younger friends by the fact that I knew the lyrics to the song forward and backwards.
