I was with two high school buddies of mine to catch the Chicago White Sox and the Yanks at the Stadium on Saturday afternoon — and what a game! Curtis Granderson, Robinson Cano and DeWayne Wise all hit homers that landed in section 206, and they were all close to where we were sitting. And Hiroki Kuroda, whom I’ve seen a couple of times this year, pitched 8 impressive innings.
Season Record so far at games I’ve attended: 3-3, with a 2 game win streak.
Record at the Stadium: 2-3.

Jake Peavy in a tough loss for the Sox.
Derek Jeter as he was getting hit by a pitch.
Yankee Stadium grounds crew during the 5th inning. It seems that they find doing the YMCA dance every home game to be extremely soul crushing, and I honestly can’t blame them.
