Nearly strangers, Anna-Lynne Williams and Robert Gomez left Seattle, Washington and Denton, Texas, and went to Marfa, Texas to make a record as Ormonde. One of the the results of their recording together was the eerily beautiful “Cherry Blossom,” which manages to gently borrow from classic music, country music and indie rock. The song appears on their forthcoming effort, Machine which Hometapes will be releasing on August 7th.
